她的声音比之前都轻:“i know what i said doesn't really an that / but both of  are too stubborn”

“you're not the type to say it first

you're not the type to write a verse

but when you stand there, hands  your pockets

i fall  love aga without a word”

    —

“you never chased , that's okay

i never needed you to chase  anyway

but if you ever hold y hand a little lonr

i'll write a thoand ngs about the way”

    —

    “you don't kneel, i know you won't

but i love you anyway— what?

you don't ask, you never do

but if you asked—i'd say yes, i do”

    —

“if you ever asked, i'd say yes

even if you never learn to chase

even if you never learn to stay
